Look What God Is Doing!
Greater Charlotte
In September 2025, 50 churches across Greater Charlotte joined together to extend a unified invitation back to church, leveraging a region-wide digital campaign to reach neighbors at scale. Through coordinated outreach, the campaign reached more than 270,000 people and generated over 1.1 million impressions, guiding thousands to explore local churches through the citywide map and landing pages. The response revealed growing momentum across the region. Churches reported meaningful attendance growth and sensed a renewed openness to faith conversations. As one pastor put it, “There feels to be a movement starting in our city—this was another piece of the puzzle.”
Colorado Springs
In the fall of 2025, 70 churches across Colorado Springs united for a shared Back to Church Sunday, offering a visible, citywide invitation to return to church. Through a public church map, coordinated digital outreach, and 267,338 postcards mailed, nearly every household in the Pikes Peak region was reached, helping residents find a nearby congregation. One guest reflected, “After 20 years away from church and living as an agnostic, I responded to the invitation and was met with warmth, love, and truth.” While outcomes varied by church, pastors consistently affirmed that the unity itself mattered—strengthening relationships, renewing invitation culture, and reminding the city that the Church is better together.
Portland
In the fall of 2025, 26 churches across Portland opened their doors in a public expression of unity, inviting the community to bring their questions about faith and find genuine, grace-filled answers around the table through Alpha groups hosted throughout the city.
Alpha USA and SharePDX partnered with CityReach to unite Portland churches in reaching neighbors who had never meaningfully engaged with faith. By hosting Alpha in both church settings and neutral locations across the city, the effort went far beyond what an individual congregation could do. It fostered a shared gospel presence throughout Portland.
